Add stations you were sent
An assistant connected here can find stations and add them to your library, correct the ones already in it, and tell you what is playing or what you have saved. Anything it adds arrives switched off, so nothing reaches Alexa until you turn it on.
Give it this address
Most assistants need nothing else. It registers itself, opens Soundbox in a browser and asks you to approve it, so there is no key to copy anywhere. ChatGPT, Claude.ai, Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor and VS Code all work this way.
If it cannot sign in
For a client that cannot sign in, or anything running with nobody at a browser to approve it. A key cannot be ended on its own: replacing it disconnects everything using it.
Copy config puts the server entry on your clipboard. Paste it into your client's MCP settings and restart it. If yours asks for an address and a header separately, the address is the one at the top of this section and the header is the Authorization line. Where to paste it, client by client.
Paste it into a settings file, not into a chat with an assistant: it carries a key, and a key in a conversation is stored wherever that conversation is. Treat it like a password — anyone holding it can add, change and delete stations and songs. New key replaces it and stops the old one working.
Connected assistants
These signed in rather than using the key, so each can be ended on its own without disturbing the others.
Each service connects to this Soundbox account. Disconnecting it here immediately stops Soundbox access; remove the integration in its own app as well if you no longer use it.
ALEXA
Soundbox on Alexa
Checking…
Open the Alexa app, search for Soundbox, and enable it. Choose Link Account and sign in with this Soundbox account.
Alexa then plays the stations and radio modes in this console.
Checking whether Home Assistant is linked.
Install Soundbox in Home Assistant, then choose Add integration and sign in.
Want the starter stations again?
Say what happened and what you expected instead. If it was one station, name it — and if it was the lock screen, say what the phone was doing at the time.
Sent with it: your account email, the station that was playing, and what this device and browser are. Nothing about what you listen to, and nothing from outside Soundbox.
Erases your stations, everything Soundbox learned, your saved songs and your sign-in. It cannot be undone and no copy is kept. Alexa stops answering for this account.
